As a Real Estate Development Manager, Tami oversees Assurity’ s Preferred Equity Portfolio and is responsible for finding new land and to develop multifamily housing. This includes assisting and prepare project schedules, proformas, market analysis, obtaining permits, all while managing financial objectives of each project. Currently she oversees 20 existing projects, as well as supervision on all new projects. Her role also involves expanding business with new partners and building on existing relationships.
Tami joined Assurity with over 20 years of experience in the third-party property
management industry. This experience includes property acquisitions as well as management for renovation and new construction properties. As a Director of Residential Property Management for Cushman & Wakefield/The Lund Company, Tami oversaw a team of Regional Property Managers and the physical, operational, and financial aspects of 5,000 multi-family units. Prior to joining The Lund Company, she worked for a national property management company located in Omaha, as well as being a General Sales Manager in Tampa, FL.
Tami attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has received the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designations through the National Apartment Association (NAA). In 2015, Tami was recognized with the prestigious Regional Manager of the Year award by the Apartment Association of Nebraska (AAN).
