Erick Tjarks, VP of Transaction Management at Cresa, grew up in rural central Iowa and earned his Bachelor’s in Business Management from the University of Iowa. He possesses over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate credit evaluation, debt placement, research, and transaction management including 7 years at a private equity REIT performing credit evaluation on over 400 potential investment opportunities. In addition, he has led a research team at a prominent net lease brokerage firm in downtown Chicago and has consulted real estate and private equity groups on rationalization of their real estate portfolios.
