In 2022, the Nebraska State Legislature passed the Economic Recovery Act (LB1024), which provided an historic investment of $335 million in funding to North and South Omaha. The goal of this funding is to foster desirable transformation, fundamental change, and long-lasting economic growth in North and South Omaha. This session will give an update on the status of the funding, a brief overview of the impactful projects that were funded, and a discussion of economic opportunities related to those investments.
