Scott is an architect and advocate for people-centered urban design. As Executive Director of nonprofit Omaha by Design, he leads a cross-disciplinary team set on enabling and inspiring a more vibrant and livable built environment. In this role, Scott has introduced city-wide initiatives in the realms of public art, affordable housing, and community design.

Scott is a native of Kearney, Nebraska. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska College of Architecture, and his Master of Architecture from Ohio State University. He is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, Board Member of ULI Nebraska and Metro Smart Cities, and Chair of the City of Omaha Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission.

Scott is also currently a candidate for the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors.
